I realize that many people want to get iPhone TV. This is pretty much the holy grail of gadget ‎achievement; until recently it just hasn’t been possible. Some handsets are starting to be able to ‎receive decent television signals and, thanks to some Apple jiggery-pokery, some interesting ‎advances in the capability of hardware (and the increasing ubiquity of decent Wi-Fi connections), ‎and the exciting news that Apple are soon going to release an app that will allow iPhone TV as ‎soon as by the end of this year.‎

The technology provider Sling – inventor of the pretty ingenious Sling box – reckon that they’re ‎ready to let iPhone TV happen right now. All they need is access to Apple’s proprietary software ‎development kit (SDK). This is where this excellent plan falls down somewhat. Sling are naturally ‎keen to cash in on what could be an amazing opportunity for them in this new and exciting area.Since mac games came into play‎

The idea behind Sling is that you pass your TV connection down through the internet to a mobile ‎device of your choice. The extension of this simple idea to working with iPhone TV is fairly ‎elementary; let’s just hope that Apple see the benefits before it becomes too late.‎
