I realize that many people want to get iPhone TV. This is pretty much the holy grail of gadget achievement; until recently it just hasn’t been possible. The technology provider Sling – inventor of the pretty ingenious Sling box – reckon that they’re ready to let iPhone TV happen right now. All they need is access to Apple’s proprietary software development kit (SDK). This is where this excellent plan falls down somewhat. The idea behind Sling is that you pass your TV connection down through the internet to a mobile device of your choice. The extension of this simple idea to working with iPhone TV is fairly elementary; let’s just hope that Apple see the benefits before it becomes too late.
