The direct sales model of network marketing exploded in the 90s, allowing people to create home businesses earning fantastic commissions. The idea was to cash in on the recruitment of others and to earn commissions for their sales, too. This is multi-level marketing at its simplest. While leading lights such as Amway introduced this idea nearly 50 years ago, the home based business industry’s growth has been stunted by the stigma attached to this kind of opportunity (a stigma that was unfortunately not helped by less than scrupulous scammers using multi-level marketing as a vehicle on which to defraud people).
Home based business is today very much a part of the mainstream: movies such as “The Secret” introduced millions of people to its possibilities, but left people wanting more, while business ‘Gurus’ such as Warren Buffet, Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki are happily promoting the idea.
The Internet has assisted this shift into the mainstream, and companies such as Liberty League International and Wealth Masters International have cleverly capitalized on the growth spurt. Other organizations, of which LifePath Unlimited is a the leading example, are attempting to stand out from the ever growing crowd. LifePath Unlimited offer a unique product line tapping into home business direct sales and personal development opportunities.
