Matt and Stacy Williams’ approach to hiring six employees to work on their home based business was simple: they provide the same benefits that they had been enjoying. Each of the employees is essentially working on their own home based business, to their own timescale and around their lifestyle. “They all work out of their homes, and they seem to appreciate the flexibility we offer them.” said Stacy.

The Williams’ home based business remains a model of efficient communication and efficient working. The staff communicate using online tools and services; it is clear that this home based business has taken its leverage of the Internet very seriously indeed. The tools used include a web-based extranet, a virtual conference calling centre and a virtual phone system.

Matt and Stacy’s hiring techniques allows them to tap into a large base of potential employees that may have been unable or unwilling to join the team.
