San Francisco Community Roundtable

I just had to come here and tell you how pleased I am! I’m rarely (probably never before) this excited about a piece of computer software, but here it is. The excitement overfloweth.

What has got me so worked up? The Ares Vista filesharing software. I downloaded Ares Vista on a whim (after being disappointed by a whole host of other attempts at the same type of program) and I can honestly say that I have not been happier with a piece of software since I cracked open minesweeper on my first computer. Happy times. Except unlike minesweeper Ares Vista has staying power.

Firstly I love the application because it installed and worked without any interference from me: lots of other implementations of the Ares system required extensive tinkering in Windows’ ‘improved’ security settings. Not here.

Secondly it allows me to download files easily, quickly and with no fuss. Click, click, click, enjoy. That’s it.

I had my doubts about the layout of the interface but that was, I think just because I was used to something else. Now I’m learning to love its simplicity and utility. This software really cannot put a foot wrong in my eyes! I have absolutely no problem in wholeheartedly recommending Ares Vista to absolutely everyone. Download it now!
