Ares Destiny is not really free

Posted by Laura under General

Dealio is a rather aggressive and very nasty piece of adware that infects your computer when you are least expecting it; unfortunately some people offering useful software decide that it will be better packaged with adware such as Dealio.AresDestiny is one such piece of useful software tainted by the color of this nasty disease. And I didn’t realize until too late. The first thing that you will likely notice about Ares Destiny is that the website is clean and professional looking; the next thing will be that it is entirely free of cost; the third that the download process works quickly and the fourth that the installation process is surprisingly painless. So far so good, you may be thinking. And indeed that is what I thought. Even to the point where I was downloading and sharing music with others all over the world. I’d seen other versions of Ares around but Ares Destiny was the first one I’d notice that was free. I’d even started to recommend Ares Destiny to some of my friends.Oh dear: what a mistake. It was only after a while that I noticed the popups ads appearing all over my computer. It was a little while after that that I tied these popups to Dealio which in turn I managed to tie to Ares Destiny. This is definitely no longer on my recommended software list.

What is a touch screen PC?

Posted by Laura under General

Nobu just released a new inwall touchscreen computer that will be shipping by mid-December. The unit features a 1.0GHz fanless Intel processor, a revolutionary 4GB solid state disk drive. Here is an excerp from the folks from Nobu:The new 8″ panel is a fully functional inwall touchscreen PC with all necessary input/output ports to control any subsystem or automation hardware in your home or office. Our goal with the new design is to satisfy a large demand for a smaller inwall touchpanel as well as to create the most robust, powerful, and visually appealing touchscreen computer on the planet. We designed the N8 without a fan because we wanted to eliminate noise and also to eliminate possible points of failure which is also why we will offer the high performance industrial Embedded Disk Card (iEDC) hard drive as an alternative to a standard 5400RMP hard drive. The N8 touchscreen PC will have a fanless 1.0 GHz Intel Celeron M processor. The N8 will be available with Windows XP Professional. We can also sell the N8 without an operating system for special applications.

Acai is a Brazilian berry

Posted by Laura under General

Acai berries are harvested as food. In a study of three traditional Caboclo populations in the Amazon region of Brazil, acai palm was described as the most important plant species because the acai fruit makes up such a major component of diet (up to 42% of the total food intake by weight) and is economically valuable in the region (Murrieta et al., 1999).The juice and pulp of acai fruits (Euterpe oleracea) are frequently used in various juice blends, smoothies, sodas, and other beverages. In northern Brazil, açaí is traditionally served in gourds called “cuias” with tapioca and sometimes sugar. Acai has become a fad in southern Brazil where it is consumed cold as açaí na tigela (“açaí in the bowl”), mostly mixed with granola – a fad where acai is considered as an energizer. Acai is also widely consumed in Brazil as an ice cream flavor or juice. As acai deteriorates rapidly after harvest, its raw material is generally only available outside the immediate growing region as acai juice or acai fruit pulp that has been frozen, dried acai, or freeze-dried. However, several companies now manufacture acai juices, other health drinks, and sorbets made from acai berries, often in combination with other fruits.

Download Ares

Posted by Laura under General

I was on one of my missions to scour the web for yesterday: my friend had asked me where the best place to download AresVista was. I said I didn’t know but, being a little bit more web savvy than him, I would do a quick search and take a look. Despite being quite a technically minded chap I am actually a filesharing virgin. So is my friend. I was looking for something on the web that would guide the two of us gently into the word of filesharing and to help us download Ares Vista without a hitch. Fortunately I found aresvista.com which, I have to say, is one of the better sites I have come across all week.I didn’t know much about the whole P2P filesharing controversy before I read the news articles on the sites. What a bunch the RIAA! I thought that I all I wanted to know was how to download Ares Vista and how to install the thing once I got it on my computer. Well, I was gripped by what they had on there; I’ll definitely be heading back!Whether you are in the market to download Ares Vista or not, this is a site that you can easily spend an hour or so on.

Pro-life Sarah Palin

Posted by Laura under General

Sarah Palin has been thrust into the hearts and minds of every American that hasn’t been holed up in a cave for the past month. On August 29, 2008, Sarah Palin – the ultimate hockey mom – found herself being names as Senator John McCain as his running mate for the forthcoming US election. But success and achievement like this is something that has followed moose hunting Sarah Palin throughout her relatively young life. Read on for a quick review of the early years of this remarkable woman’s life.

Palin’s was born to Charles and Sarah Heath on February 11, 1964 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Charles was a science teacher who loved the outdoors and regularly took young Sarah moose hunting with him before she set off for school in the morning; Sarah’s mother was a school secretary. The family were all active and often ran together in long distance running competitions.

Sarah Palin attended Wasilla High school where she excelled in sports; her nickname on the basketball court was “Sarah Barracuda” because of her aggressive nature.

Colleges and Universities – and she managed to get around a few – were fertile ground for her talents, and Sarah Palin won the Miss Wasilla Pageant and came an impressive third in the Miss Alaska competition.

Will Wealth Masters fit you?

Posted by Laura under General

We cannot believe everything that we see on the Internet. Or anywhere, for that matter. There is just so much possibility to be fed incorrect or misleading information that it is important to check your sources thoroughly.

A product like the business opportunity Wealth Masters International, for instance (and please note that I take this just for the sake of illustration rather than any love towards the opportunity), is heavily talked about on the web.

There are a lot of reviews of opportunities like Wealth Masters International, too. A lot of these reviews are not genuine in that the reviewers are being given a heavy incentive to encourage people to sign up. Whilst I do not doubt that these reviews that pay homage to Wealth Masters International are based on fact, they are not encouraged to give you the whole picture.

And the thing about a home business opportunity like Wealth Masters International is that it is as much about the opportunity fitting you as you fitting it. Picking the wrong opportunity because you are sold on some dream peddled to you by a man in a suit is absolutely no way to approach what could potentially be the rest of your life.

iPhone TV it is

Posted by Sashi under iPhone Apps

I realize that many people want to get iPhone TV. This is pretty much the holy grail of gadget ‎achievement; until recently it just hasn’t been possible. Some handsets are starting to be able to ‎receive decent television signals and, thanks to some Apple jiggery-pokery, some interesting ‎advances in the capability of hardware (and the increasing ubiquity of decent Wi-Fi connections), ‎and the exciting news that Apple are soon going to release an app that will allow iPhone TV as ‎soon as by the end of this year.‎

The technology provider Sling – inventor of the pretty ingenious Sling box – reckon that they’re ‎ready to let iPhone TV happen right now. All they need is access to Apple’s proprietary software ‎development kit (SDK). This is where this excellent plan falls down somewhat. Sling are naturally ‎keen to cash in on what could be an amazing opportunity for them in this new and exciting area.Since mac games came into play‎

The idea behind Sling is that you pass your TV connection down through the internet to a mobile ‎device of your choice. The extension of this simple idea to working with iPhone TV is fairly ‎elementary; let’s just hope that Apple see the benefits before it becomes too late.‎
